A wedding ceremony under chandeliers, guests seated on both sides of the aisle

Wedding Officiants · Highlands & Polk County, Florida

The party starts at the aisle.

Months of planning come down to this moment. Take a deep breath and enjoy it. We’ll take it from here.

Three things we promise you

Professional and fun are not opposites.

Custom

Designed just for you and your guests

Your love deserves more than a template. A custom ceremony turns your story, your personalities and your promises into a moment your guests feel — not just witness.

Fun

A ceremony your guests enjoy

Warm, a little funny, and never stiff. We keep the pacing tight and the mood light, so your guests are smiling instead of checking their watches, and they carry that feeling straight into the reception.

Legal

Paperwork handled

Our officiants are authorized to perform marriages in Florida and meet every obligation the law sets. Your license is completed and filed on time, so the only thing you have to think about is each other.

The running order

Twenty-five minutes, give or take.

Every ceremony is different, but the bones are the same. Here is what actually happens between “doors open” and “drinks are served.”

  1. 01

    The Welcome before the Processional

Before anyone walks down the aisle, your officiant welcomes your guests, asks for phones to be put away, and sets a warm, relaxed tone, so everyone is settled and ready the moment the music starts.

  2. 02

    The Processional

Cue the music. The flower girl drops every petal in one spot, the family pet trots down with the rings (eventually), and maybe you arrive by horse and carriage. However you picture your entrance, we’ll build the moment around it, and every head will turn.

  3. 03

    Your Story

The part only the two of you could have written, and the first time you’ll hear it. Told out loud, usually with at least one laugh and at least one person reaching for a tissue.

  4. 04

    The Vows

Traditional, custom, repeat-after-me, or read off the paper in your shaking hand. Whichever you pick, we walk through it first so nobody freezes.

  5. 05

    The Rings

Short, clear, and paced so your photographer actually gets the shot instead of a blur of hands.

  6. 06

    The Pronouncement

    The line everyone came for.

  7. 07

    The Kiss

Held a beat longer than feels natural. Trust us on this one — you will want that photo.

  8. 08

    The Recessional

The walk back up the aisle belongs to the two of you. Your photographer keeps you in the spotlight every step of the way while your guests cheer you out, so take it slow and soak it in.
    …and then, the party.

Best.

Ceremony.

Ever.

Your officiants

Jennifer & Mark Miller.

Jennifer and Mark each officiate their own weddings across Highlands and Polk County. Every one is written from scratch around your story and delivered with warmth, a little humor, and timing that keeps your guests with you from the first word to the last. Your officiant arrives early, fully prepared, and focused on one custom wedding that day: yours.

The paperwork side is handled properly too: your marriage license is completed and returned to the clerk on time, every time.

Our promise: one custom wedding a day

Tell us your date. We’ll tell you if it’s open.

Each officiant books just one custom wedding per date, so nobody arrives rushed. With two of us, that’s two chances at your date — but popular dates still go quickly. Every inquiry gets a real answer within 24 hours.
